MONDAY – TLW: Complete the “Toilet Paper Solar System” activity. Students will build a scale model of the solar system using a roll of toilet paper!! HW: Review class notes for short quiz tomorrow!

TUESDAY – TLW: Discuss the moons of the planets in our solar system and create class notes. 6.7.3

WEDNESDAY –TLW: Illustrate a solar and a lunar eclipse and watch a video on solar and lunar eclipses. 6.7.3

THURSDAY – TLW Examine other small bodies in the solar system such as comets and asteroids. 6.7.1

FRIDAY – TLW: Examine “Earth Movements and Time” L14:TCAP Coach 6.7.1; “Gravity” L15:TCAP Coach 6.7.2; “Planets and their features” L16:TCAP Coach 6.7.3; and “Components of the Universe” “L17:TCAP Coach 6.7.4; Students will answer practice questions from these lessons.
