MONDAY – TLW: Evaluate the impact of the Nile River on life in ancient Egypt. P106-109 (6.5.5)

TUESDAY – TLW: Analyze how the Egyptians figured out ways to live in harmony with their physical environment. Students will also find out how the physical environment influenced the development of the Egyptian’s religion. P109-111 (6.5.11)

WEDNESDAY –TLW: Create a mural to extend what students have learned about people’s interaction with the physical environment in the Nile Valley. (6.1.5)

THURSDAY – TLW: Discover the amazing role religion played in the lives and deaths of the Ancient Egyptians. Students will examine various aspects of daily life during Ancient times and the important role of the Nile River played in sustaining life. Students will answer (Video Quiz) questions (6.5.11) HW: Work on “Living in Ancient Egypt” map exercise – Due Monday!!

FRIDAY – TLW: Practice Map Skills. (U.S. map, tracing routes, using map key) (6.3.5) HW: Complete “Living in Ancient Egypt” map exercise – Due Monday!!
