MONDAY – TLW: Understand and create a parallel time line. C1/skill lesson, p60 spi(6.5.1) HW:‡Make a parallel time line comparing 3 events in your life with 3 events in a family member’s life.
TUESDAY – TLW: Further studies of the parallel time line. C1/skill lesson, p60 spi(6.5.1). Students will be given a handout and instructions on a time line project called “A PENNY in TIME.’’
WEDNESDAY –TLW: Explore new inventions in Mesopotamia that will lessen the threat of floods in the Tigres Euphrates valley. C2.1, p73-74 spi6.5.5 HW:‡ Students will write a brief summary on one of the inventions mentioned in C2.1, the problem it solves, and its effect on society.
THURSDAY – TLW: Study the role of government in Mesopotamia - Monarchy and its effect on society C2.1, p73 spi6.4.4
FRIDAY – TLW: Discover the concept of “Social Classes” in Mesopotamia C2.1, p77 spi6.4.4 Student will also construct a diagram illustration from top to bottom the division of social classes.
